Youth aging out of foster care are among the nation’s most disadvantaged. Holly’s Place supports these young people by offering housing and programming, helping them build a path to independence.
Youth exiting foster care are among the nation’s most vulnerable groups, facing significant challenges in their transition to independence. Many lack the necessary resources and support systems, highlighting the need for targeted programs and services.
In California alone, around 4,000 youth exit foster care each year, with one in five becoming homeless, according to the Children’s Bureau.
By age 23, many struggle to achieve key milestones in education and employment, essential for self-sufficiency and long-term success.
For over a decade, Holly’s Place has been a leading provider of transitional housing in the Bay Area, dedicated to helping youth transition out of foster care. Through housing placement and tailored programming, we create pathways to independence and long-term success.
Licensed by California’s Community Care Licensing, Holly’s Place operates facilities across Solano, Alameda, Contra Costa, San Joaquin, and Stanislaus counties.
