OUr Mission
To provide positive mentorship and developmental leadership skills, and to ensure ongoing support services (social work, educational and career/vocational guidance and counseling, and residential support) for NMDs transitioning from foster care to independent living.

Our Intent
The intent of this program is to operate in the public interest for scientific, educational, and charitable purposes. The program is organized with non-profit tax status. All proceeds are used to maintain, improve, and/or expand the program’s operations.
Who we Serve
The program intends to serve non-minor dependents (NMDs), at least 18 years of age and not more than 21 years of age, including male, female, bisexual, gay, transgender, or pregnant individuals.
NMDs are placed in scatter-site housing units (one NMD per bedroom), a model in which one or more NMDs live independently together in an apartment or single-family dwelling, with an adult employee available as needed to provide supervision.
The facility is certified by the host county to provide housing and support services as needed for NMDs.

Inclusive Support
The program does not discriminate based on race, gender, sexual orientation/identity, or disability. The program will provide non-medical residential support and other services consistent with mentoring and assistance for NMDs who are at least 18 years old but not more than 21, and who are either completing secondary education or a program leading to an equivalent credential, enrolled in a postsecondary or vocational education institution, or participating in a program or activity.
